Reliance Industries has declared a donation of Rs. 500 crore to PM Relief fund. This is to overcome Emergency Situations (PM CARES Fund) considering the progress of Coronavirus pandemic.
Aside from its PM CARES fund donations, the company is separately contributing Rs.5 crore each.
This money is donated to Maharashtra CM Relief Fund and Gujarat CM Relief Fund. Reliance company also focused on India’s first 100 bed hospital isonated to Covid-19 patients.
“RIL continues its 24×7 work, even at this pandemic times. India deserves such companies which can win against the remarkable challenges.
Same thing was mentioned in company’s statement while donating.
Reliance Donates Rs.500 Crore and 50 Lakhs Meals:
Reliance is also promising 50 lakh free meals across the nation in the following 10 days.
“We are giving more importance to daily wage workers, who are unable to feed their families”
“We are planning to take care of lakhs of people with free meals through out the nation” said Nita Ambani, Founder Chairperson of Reliance Foundation.
In the same press release, Reliance says it has found a way to give 1 lakh masks and thousands of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) every day for health-workers.
